Westleigh

Located on the upper north shore, Westleigh has long been a hidden gem. Approximately 27km north west of Sydney, Westleigh is surrounded by national park providing stunning bush views and borders the suburb of Thornleigh. It is a beautiful area to live, with a close knit family orientated community, that caters for every age group’s needs. Westleigh has honoured its natural surroundings by naming many of the streets after Australian plant and tree species, for example Gum Blossom Drive, Stringybark Place, Peppermint Gum Place and Ironbark Close. There is a great mixture of homes in Westleigh ranging from modern contemporary homes as found in Sanctuary Gardens, to beautiful character filled homes built in the 1960’s all on larger sized blocks. Settler’s Green has provided many down-sizing residents the opportunity to stay in the area. There are many parks in Westleigh, with the largest and most popular park being Ruddock Park. With great facilities including soccer fields, tennis courts, bike track and pirate ship playground, BBQ, picnic tables and a great well maintained fenced off-leash dog park.
