The town of Mangrove Mountain is situated on the Central Coast and is approximately 63 kilometres away from Sydney, bordered by several geographical features of landscapes and waterscapes, such as Mount McLeod, Stringybark Point and Milligans Range, to mention a few. Mangrove Mountain has nearby tourist attractions as well, including Australia Walkabout Park, which is the only wildlife sanctuary in New South Wales with Aboriginal rock art sites and free-roaming animals, and Mount Penang Gardens, which is a native Australian garden with summer aquatic waterways.
