Forsyth Celebrates 114th Birthday

“More than a real estate agent – an integral part of the Willoughby Community”

On Monday, October 1, Forsyth Real Estate will celebrate its 114th birthday.

RT Forsyth was founded on 1 October 1898 by young real estate agent Robert Todd Forsyth, who opened a wooden office in Penshurst Street, Willoughby.  His goal was to provide the local community with honest, knowledgeable real estate people and had the philosophy “the client's best interest above all”. Over a century later, Forsyth is still in the same high profile location and is still owned by the same family.  The current Directors of Forsyth Real Estate, Margaret Snodgrass and James Snodgrass, are 3th and 4th generation Forsyths respectively.

Over the years, Forsyth has always been at the leading edge of real estate practice and technology, while still retaining its reputation as an honest family business serving the local community.

Today, the agency sells and manages residential and commercial properties across the North Shore and around Sydney, and has achieved record sales from Mosman to Roseville. The business has continued to grow and thrive, attracting some of the industry’s best agents and providing its clients with the top quality service and professional expertise for which it has always been known.

James Snodgrass
