Louis van Gelder Appointed Director of Sales

We are pleased to announce Louis van Gelder has assumed the role Director of Sales at Forsyth.This appointment recognises Louis' depth of experience in the market, leadership, and influence within the team.

 

Louis is a consummate real estate professional and a proven high performer.  His highly successful career in real estate sales and marketing spans over 30 years, including commercial, industrial, retail and rural property, with particular expertise in residential sales and project marketing.  Louis offers his clients exceptional professional advice and market knowledge combined with an empathetic personality, excellent communication skills and the confidence that every detail will be taken care of to ensure a stress free and successful sales campaign. 

 

Over the decades, Louis has marketed and sold property across Sydney and has a wealth of experience on the North Shore and Northern Beaches. Most recently he headed up the Special Projects Division of one of Sydney’s leading specialist project marketing companies on the Northern Beaches. He was responsible for the successful marketing and sales campaigns for many of the Northern Beaches’ landmark new developments, from boutique apartment buildings to expansive 100+ unit complexes, substantial residential and commercial developments, to executive townhouses and luxurious waterfront estates.

 

Having been in the industry through a number of property cycles, Louis is a consistent and proven high achiever in all types of markets.  A leader in sales and marketing technique and strategy, he developed the concept of the personalised “Attraction Business Plan” to create massive buyer enquiry on marketed properties. His strong negotiation skills ensure he converts this buyer interest into above-market prices for his clients.  As a Licensed Real Estate Agent and Accredited Auctioneer, Louis prides himself on his reputation for honesty and integrity when dealing with both owners and purchasers.  Above all, he retains his enthusiasm for the ever-changing real estate market, his enjoyment of working with people and his drive to set high goals for himself and achieve premium results for his clients.
